Richmond Restoration did a wonderful job cleaning out my dryer vent. It is a a bendy, complicated vent and no other company was able to clean it. Because Mike has the hose that blows out the vent it was easy, thorough and very fast. I would definitely use Mike Richmond again, he was kind, courteous and clean.

I needed my duct work cleaned after a restoration project. I had trouble finding someone, even after seeking recommendations from friends. I resorted to Google and found Thumbtack, which I had never heard of before. I received four quotes in short order, with Richmond's being the first and cheapest. Some of the other companies had more reviews, but most of them seemed unauthentic. I selected Richmond and made the appointment through email. Mike showed up at the exact time he said he would, was neat, polite and professional. He had all of the appropriate equipment and used protector plates to protect the paint in doorways, etc. Frankly, I rolled the dice with Thumbtack, but I couldn't be happier with the process as well as Richmond Restoration's work. I reached out to this company on Monday and was able to very quickly schedule an appointment for a time that fit my schedule this week. My original call was because i had a leak over my office that i was pretty sure caused my the dryer vent being clogged. Once he arrived Michael was quick to identify the issue and area of concern within my attic. He cleaned out the vent pipe and all associated parts. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and had all the tools needed for the job. Price was extremely reasonable and clean up was great. I already have plans to have them back for annual cleanings. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family.

Mike did a fantastic job treating the mold in my basement. We first spoke in detail over the phone and he gave me a rough estimate. He then drove a good distance to meet and look at it in person. He was the fifth person to look at the job. I hired him on the spot. After two full days of work, my grungy, damp basement looked and smelled well taken care of. He also showed pride in his work. Trustworthy guy!

So one day out of the blue, a fungi moved into my basement. At first it was OK, it was just one and he was kind of a fungi, but then another fungi moved in. Before long, they decided to get married and grow mold together. It was at this time their fate was decided; it was time for them to move out. Very friendly and respectful during their visit. They even included cleaning my drier vent. My house feels so much cleaner and more comfortable knowing that I'm not breathing in dust and debris.

The amount of debris they removed was amazing and the house is smelling great. So professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and SO much less expensive than the bigger places. Don't call anyone else but Richmond. I could not be happier!!!

I highly recommend getting your air ducts cleaned using Richmond Restoration. We bought our home 4 years ago and finally decided to have our AC system cleaned and sanitized. Mike is very knowledgeable and helped highlight issues we could correct to ensure our AC units maintain peak performance.
The sanitization of the system gave us the piece of mind that our family does not breath in the junk left by the last owner. We discovered mold in our of our AC units and had Mike remediate the problem.
After the cleaning I can detect an improved airflow.
